Many Bay Area residents remember the massive toxic explosion in 1993 that released several tons of poisonous gas into the air over Richmond, CA. This Mass Tort case involved over 60,000 victims and 100 law firms.

Steven Choi was elected Vice-Chairman of the Steering Committee that oversaw the individual case litigation against General Chemical.  The Choi Law Firm represented over 1,000 individual clients in this case.

A total settlement of $180 Million Dollars was obtained.
