In 2003, the Benediktsson family was driving in San Francisco when they were rear-ended by a commercial truck owned by European Line, Inc.  There were 4 passengers and 3 settled out of court for a total of of $102,500. Cathy was injured the most but the trucking company only offered her $100,000 so we took her case to a trial before a San Francisco jury and obtained a judgment for Cathy in the amount of $276,700.
