Baker v. nextel

Mr. Baker was crossing the street in a cross-walk when he was struck by a Nextel van. Mr. Baker fractured his skull and his right wrist. He required surgery to insert a metal rod in his wrist and another surgery to remove it a year later. As a result of his head injury, Mr. Baker lost all sense of smell which is a rare occurence.
